Golf Wrist Exercises

21 July 2011 No Comment

Do you want more power in your golf swing? Want an easy task (s) quickly improvement journey? All wrists! Yes … said that over 70% + the speed comes and disruption, and wrists.

The only problem with that is many golfers, especially the elderly have the wrists of both weak and inflexible, and they can not get or keep their wrist cock (GAL) during the slowdown. Power is a huge loss for golfers with these limitations.

I bet when you hear the power and distance, could not think of dolls you think? Imagine hitting a golf ball thing, baseball, or shoot without a rooster on the wrist with a delay before release. Would be powerless without the speed of movement.

It is a simple exercise I do for pure strength, and I use my golf club weight to accelerate improvements in strength, but if not, you can use an 8-iron or 3 iron. The bigger the club the greatest resistance to the wrist and forearm.

Exercise is so easy and simple, it can be done anywhere. In your living room. In the office. Even when you travel (in the club that is).

I call it the Great Golf wrist. (There are many other exercises of the wrist very effective I can not reveal later, wink):

  • Take a club as described above. Start by saying a pitching wedge and work your way to a 3-iron.
  • Your arms hang at your side. Take the club and let her head rest on the ground at your side.
  • Cock your wrist upward to lift the clubhead on the ground as high as you can, keeping the arm on the side.
  • Slowly lower the pulse uncorking earth.
  • Repeat 15 times and switch hands.
  • You will feel a burn on his forearm.
  • Do this 2-3 times a week and you’ll be plowing through the influence of the ball!
